Two Top Quality Scyphocrinites elegans crinoids from Alnif, Morocco. The Scyphocrinites crinoid was a floating variety which was attached to a holdfast air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx ("flower"). This crinoid has a bulbous calyx with incredible detail. These crinoids have good sized stem sections of 2-1/4" and 3-1/2". These crinoids make fantastic display pieces. Museum Quality specimen. An Extra Large, Top Quality Abelisaurid dinosaur tooth from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. A TOP QUALITY Phareodus fish from the 18 Inch Layer. The Phareodus encaustus is a Osteoglossidae fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA) fish, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. A scarce species. The Phareodus was a carnivorous fish with large pointed teeth and a long pectoral fin. This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely hard and difficult to prepare.
