A Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper anterior jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich  blue crown and a tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A perfect "Pungo" hastalis tooth.

A Top Quality, Otodus obliquus pathologic tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. A lateral tooth with highly curved crown. This tooth has an excellent golden tan color and a white root. Sharp edges and tip. The side cusps are muliple and complete. A massive, thick root. Note - the very end of the left root lobe was repaired. Great color! One of the earliest ancestors of the Megalodon. An excellent collector's quality tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

A Top Quality, Mioplosus  fish from the 18 inch layer. The Mioplosus labracoides is an extinct Perch-like fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA), Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming.  A scarce species. This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely hard and difficult to prepare. It also provides the most detailed, highly preserved fossils. Exceptional preservation and preparation.
