An excellent pair of Mucrospirifer thedfordensis brachiopods from Arkona, Ontario, Canada. Brachiopods are bivalve molluscs. Both valves present  - complete specimens and matrix free. A Top Quality Broad-tooth Mako shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from Lee Creek, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich blue & tan crown and a brown colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. An ultra rare Mosasaur matrix piece with two Top Quality Mosasaurus (Prognathodon) anceps teeth with their original roots. Another May 2018 Fossil of the Month selection. Includes a massive 5-1/2" tooth and a 3" tooth in the original matrix. Both are fully rooted and perfect teeth which is very rare! This is not your typical Mosasaur crown glued to a root. This is an all original, associated specimen (beware of the fakes - discussion below). Exceptional condition and preservation.  No repair or restoration. Museum Quality. The black bourlette bourlette is mostly complete. Very sharp serrations with an extra large tip serration.
