A Top Quality Scyphocrinites elegans crinoid from Alnif, Morocco. The Scyphocrinites crinoid was a floating variety which was attached to a holdfast air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx ("flower"). This crinoid has a bulbous calyx with incredible detail. This crinoid has a good sized stem section of 3". These crinoids make fantastic display pieces. Museum Quality specimen. An excellent TAN colored Megalodon tooth from No. Carolina with frame.  These Megalodon teeth are great for gifts, class room, or starting your fossil shark tooth or Megalodon collection.  This Megalodon tooth is Miocene age - about 15 MYA (Hawthorne Fm.) and was found 40 miles offshore Wrightsville Beach, NC. No repair or restoration. The rock matrix is a beautiful marble material and the cavities are mineral filled! These Goniatites are beautifully polished on all sides. Thick (7/8"+).
