    A very rare Auriculatus anterior tooth from the Ocucaja region deserts of Peru. An excellent tan crown and brown root. The serrations are very nice -  large and sharp. Good side cusp development and a complete root. Excellent preservation. No repair or restoration. Found in the Paracas Formation, Late Eocene. These Peruvian Rics are very rare! You cannot find them any more. Authenticity guaranteed. One of the most difficult Auriculatus teeth to locate.

P. anceps is one of the largest mosasaur species known with huge nearly round teeth used for crushing prey.  Exceptional condition and preservation.
