A rare, 4-13/16", Top Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. This tooth was found in the Ernst West quarry. This Megalodon tooth has the top quality enamel with tan crown. The bourlette is a light brown color and mostly complete. The root is articulated and complete. The serrations are sharp with an excellent tip. This is a middle Miocene Meg. The right root tip was neatly reattached. A common occurrence at STH. No restoration. I don't see middle Miocene Sharktooth Hill Megs from Bakersfield, California very often. One of the rarest Megs! Authenticity guaranteed.

A rare, 3-7/8" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. This tooth was found in the Ernst West quarry. This Megalodon tooth has the high quality enamel with a great Blue & Tan color. The bourlette is a light brown color and nearly complete. The root is articulated and complete. The serrations are sharp with some damage and a large tip serration. This is a middle Miocene Meg. No repair or restoration.
