Excellent teeth from one of the most highly sought fossil shark teeth - an extinct early Giant White shark, C. chubutensis. C. chubutensis is an early form of C. megalodon (early - middle Miocene) which exhibits the development of small side cusps. These are rare teeth from Peru. You do not see many of this early Megalodon species available! Please note that Peru produces C. megalodon and C. chubutensis teeth that are among the highest quality available, and exceptional specimens are exceedingly difficult to locate. NO restoration or repair in this group! Note - Peru Chubutensis teeth are difficult to locate. High quality Chubutensis teeth are near impossible to to find! Authenticity guaranteed.
