An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Paronychodon lacustris tooth from Montana. A theropod from the Troodonidae family. These teeth are recurved, flat, with strong longitudinal grooves running the length of the crown. They are non-serrate and may be related to Richardoestesia (see below). No cracks. A High QUALITY Nanotyrannus lancensis tooth from the western US. This juvenile tooth measures 15/16" (straight line). The enamel has some root etching. The posterior serrations are good. No cracks. A TOP QUALITY, Lee Creek Otodus chubutensis, a O. megalodon predecessor, from Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note the crown exhibits cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - Otodus chubutensis. A gorgeous blue & tan colored crown with a brown bourlette. Great serrations. The root is brown colored with a couple of small dings. Highest quality enamel! Fantastic color! No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.

A rare, EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY, Giant Dolphin or whale tooth from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of central Chile. A complete tooth. Gorgeous color and preservation. This is a rare species. I have only seen one tooth like one, and it may be a rare small whale species. Type #8 - An XL conical crown and an XL straight round root. A perfect tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. An excellent Scaldicetus sp., a Sperm whale, tooth from Caldera area of Chile. An EXTRA LARGE, very rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni  tooth with a massive root from the Summerville, So. Carolina. A Miocene-Pliocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. Nice tan color. A rare, Top Quality Theropod tooth from the late Cretaceous of Mississippi. A Troodontid type dinosaur found in North America. The enamel is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. This crown is fully serrated with fine serrations on one carina and very fine serrations on the other. The crown is also has vertical striations. Possible relative to Richardoestesia, but different from typical Late Cretaceous species. No repair or restoration. A very rare, LARGE, Top Quality Edestus heinrichi shark tooth, from Herrin, Illinois. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. Note - this tooth has a lot of pyrite and the tip is naturally rounded (polished)  which thought to be due to the vertical whipping motion used to slice prey.  Excellent preservation, serrations, and serration detail. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion or a vertical whipping motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois.
