A Top Quality Scyphocrinites elegans crinoid from Alnif, Morocco. The Scyphocrinites crinoid was a floating variety which was attached to a holdfast air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx ("flower"). This crinoid has a bulbous calyx with incredible detail. This crinoid has a good sized stem section of 2-3/4". These crinoids make fantastic display pieces. Museum Quality specimen. An EXTRA LARGE, very rare, Top Quality Heptranchias howellii tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. This Cow shark tooth is a complete lower jaw tooth with seven primary cusps. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Prognathodon anceps tooth from the phosphate mining region, Khouribga, Morocco. P. anceps is one of the largest mosasaur species known with huge nearly round teeth used for crushing prey.  Exceptional condition and preservation. Note - this large Moroccan Mosasaur was renamed to a Prognathodon genus. There is one small natural wear facet on the side.
