An EXTRA LARGE scarce Top Quality, Isurus retroflexus, the Longfin Mako shark tooth (upper jaw anterior tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich black crown and a gray colored root. Excellent colors!  Sharp cutting edge. The rear top of root has a "shoulder" build up, a characteristic of Isurus retroflexus. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A difficult tooth to source.

A rare, GEM lower Eocene age Hexanchus agassizi lower jaw tooth from the Isle of Sheppey, Kent, UK.  Very well preserved - excellent condition.

An EXTRA LARGE, rare TOP QUALITY, Isurus retroflexus tooth, a Longfin Mako, from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina. Upper jaw lateral tooth. Excellent copper red color with exceptional gloss. The root shows very nice detail with the typical distinct enameloid build up on the reverse side. Absolutely great preservation and condition - extra sharp edges and tip - very clean. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Knightia fish from the 18 Inch layer, Green River Fm., Lincoln Co. Wyoming. The Knightia eocaena is a Herring-like fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA).  This piece is from the 18 Inch Layer which is extremely dense and difficult to prepare.
