An EXTRA LARGE ultra rare, 6" Top Quality Red Site Otodus megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. An April Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon is an excellent upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. Exceptional rich copper red color. The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are large and worn. Bourlette is dentin later. The root is wide & complete. A Miocene-Pliocene Meg tooth. No repair or restoration. A rare, High Quality 2-3/4" Tyrannosaurus rex dentary tooth. The enamel has a great color and patina with some root etching. Good mesial and distal serrations. Base cross-section is a tall oval - wide (1"). A thick tooth. Some crack fill. No restoration. T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A rare GEM QUALITY Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Flint River, Georgia. An exceptional molar. An April Fossil of the Month. An excellent green colored crown and tan root. Nicely articulated. Incredible preservation!  Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. An Ultra Rare, TOP QUALITY Nanotyrannus lancensis  rooted tooth from the western US. An August Fossil of the Month. This maxillary rooted tooth measures 1-5/8" (straight line). The enamel is excellent quality with excellent color and patina. The anterior and posterior serrations are excellent. The crown is flawless and the root has some crack fill which is normal for a rooted tooth. No restoration. An EXTRA LARGE, GEM QUALITY Ceratonurus sp. trilobite. Another collector's favorite spiny trilobite. A March Fossil of the Month. The preparation is German with all original colors and no restoration. Fourteen large spines fully exposed requiring many dozens of hours of air abrasion.
