A very rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Torvosaurus tanneri  tooth from the Morrison Fm. A January Fossil of the Month. This Torvosaurus crown measures 2" and is 1-1/4" wide. The tooth measures 3-1/4" with the partial root. This is a BIG Torvosaurus tooth big serrations on both carinae (1.5 ser. per mm) and the mesial carina extends less than 1/2 of the crown. The enamel is high quality. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. Minor natural crushing on the left bottom is stabilized. Excellent overall condition. There is minor restoration at the high point of the base of the crown.. Torvosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cabin Quarry, Albany Co., Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed.  Note - A Riker display frame is included. A Colorful, Top Quality Megalodon - lower jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has a tan with brown highlights colored crown with a brown & golden tan colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!  The bourlette is large & complete. The serrations are razor sharp and nearly complete. Excellent  serrations. The root is excellent with a nicely articulated surface & complete with no erosion.  Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. Authenticity Guaranteed. A very special color collector's Meg tooth. A rare, Top Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of So. Dakota. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". Note - this claw is from a second Anzu species which displays the strong horizontal ridges on the proxinal end. An excellent manus claw. Check out the ridges on the proximal end which could be a new species. Excellent rich light brown color and patina. This specimen has excellent perservation. Note - the tip was professionally restored which is typical for most Hell Creek claws. A top quality, collector's claw from the Hell Creek of So. A rare, High Quality, 6-1/2" Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw tooth from South Carolina. An excellent Dark Gray colored crown. High quality enamel. The bourlette is a nice dark brown color. The serrations are large and sharp. The root is charcoal color, nicely articulated, extra wide (5-1/8"), and complete with typical cracks. No repair or restoration. A rare GEM QUALITY Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Flint River, Georgia. An exceptional molar. An April Fossil of the Month. An excellent green colored crown and tan root. Nicely articulated. Incredible preservation!  Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. An Eocene age tooth (36 MYA) from the Ocala Limestone Fm.  No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A great Archaeocete tooth from the Flint River, Georgia from an old collection. A Top Quality Lambeosaur (Parasaurolophus) maxilla from the late Cretaceous (Judith River Fm.) of North America. An April Fossil of the Month. This is a complete upper jaw containing 100s exposed teeth. Parasaurolophus is a lambeosaur (crested) hadrosaur or "duck-bill" from the Judith River Formation in Montana. The maxilla possessed 100s teeth that were in rows of teeth which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a chewing surface to cut and grind their food. Bone quality is excellent. Minor crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Fergus Co., Mpntana. An EXTRA LARGE, GEM QUALITY Ceratonurus sp. trilobite. Another collector's favorite spiny trilobite. A March Fossil of the Month. The preparation is German with all original colors and no restoration. Fourteen large spines fully exposed requiring many dozens of hours of air abrasion. You can see the natural bumps along the long spine were preserved. One of the most difficult species to prepare. Excellent shell and spine preservation. Large size. A rare species!
