An ultra rareTenontosaurus tilletti  "chest" consisting of the scapula, 13 ribs, and 6 vertebra as found on its original Cloverly Formation matrix. A March Fossil of the Month. Tenontosaurus is an early Cretaceous basal iguanodontid dinosaur, and it was the primary prey for Deinonychus. This specimen was prepared to thoroughly expose the chest area bones. Bones were exposed 2" above the matrix which makes a great 3D display. Minor crack fill. The ribs are as found with no extra fill used. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Clovery Fm., Carbon Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed.  A very rare collector's display piece. You don't see Tenontosaurus fossils very often. A rare GEM QUALITY Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Flint River, Georgia. An exceptional molar. An April Fossil of the Month. An excellent green colored crown and light tan root. Nicely articulated. Incredible preservation!  Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. An April Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon is an excellent upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. Note the large cutting waves and enamel wrinkles on both sides. A wild one! Exceptional rich copper red color. The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are large and sharp. Bourlette is dentin later. The root is wide & complete. A very rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Torvosaurus tanneri  tooth from the Morrison Fm. A January Fossil of the Month. This Torvosaurus crown measures 2" and is 1-1/4" wide. The tooth measures 3-1/4" with the partial root. This is a BIG Torvosaurus tooth big serrations on both carinae (1.5 ser. per mm) and the mesial carina extends less than 1/2 of the crown. The enamel is high quality. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. Minor natural crushing on the left bottom is stabilized. Excellent overall condition. There is minor restoration at the high point of the base of the crown.. Torvosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cabin Quarry, Albany Co., Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed.  Note - A Riker display frame is included. A rare, High Quality 2-3/4" Tyrannosaurus rex dentary tooth. The enamel has a great color and patina with some root etching. Good mesial and distal serrations. Base cross-section is a tall oval - wide (1"). A thick tooth. Some crack fill. No restoration. T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A Colorful, Top Quality Megalodon - lower jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has a tan with brown highlights colored crown with a brown & golden tan colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!  The bourlette is large & complete. The serrations are razor sharp and nearly complete. Excellent  serrations. A rare, Top Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of So. Dakota. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". Note - this claw is from a second Anzu species which displays the strong horizontal ridges on the proxinal end. An excellent manus claw. Check out the ridges on the proximal end which could be a new species. Excellent rich light brown color and patina. This specimen has excellent perservation. Note - the tip was professionally restored which is typical for most Hell Creek claws. A top quality, collector's claw from the Hell Creek of So. A rareTriceratops horridus jaw section (maxilla section) with teeth from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This is a great jaw section with good detail preserved and a great chocolate brown color and patina. This jaw has ~10 teeth visible. Triceratops bones are more difficult to find. Some crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in Walworth Co., North Dakota. Specimen come with a custom steel stand as shown. Authenticity guaranteed. A Top Quality Lambeosaur (Parasaurolophus) maxilla from the late Cretaceous (Judith River Fm.) of North America. An April Fossil of the Month. This is a complete upper jaw containing 100s exposed teeth. Parasaurolophus is a lambeosaur (crested) hadrosaur or "duck-bill" from the Judith River Formation in Montana. The maxilla possessed 100s teeth that were in rows of teeth which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a chewing surface to cut and grind their food. Bone quality is excellent. Minor crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Fergus Co., Mpntana.
