A rare, very well preserved Camel (Camelops sp.) canine from Dunnellon, Marion Co., Florida.  A beautiful, fully rooted tooth. Camelops evolved in the late Pliocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene in North America. This is molar is complete with no wear. One crack. Well fossilized. No restoration. This tooth was found where the Rainbow River merges with the Withlacoochee River. Authenticity guaranteed. Note - X807 comes with a Riker display frame.

A RARE, Pectinodon bakkeri tooth from the Hell Creek Fm. of western North America. Pectinodon is a small Troodontid and has teeth similar to Troodon.  Pectinodon are known for their very unique shaped teeth with unusually large distal serrations. A TOP QUALITY serrated Nanotyrannus lancensis premaxillary tooth from the western US. The premaxillary teeth were the front teeth, have a "D" shaped base, and were not large. Most Nano premaxillary teeth are non-serrate. This Nano has strong serrations - rare.  The right side serrations have some wear or damage. This tooth measures 9/16" (straight line). A TOP QUALITY very rare Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Lateral tooth - juvenile shark. The crown has sharp cutting edges. Excellent light tan color with a light tan root and bourlette. The root is ~3/8" thick and shows typical hydration cracks. This Parotodus tooth was found in the Yorktown Formation (Pliocene age).
