The Diplomystus dentatus is a Herring fish from the Eocene age (50 MYA) in the ancient Fossil Lake deposit. These fossil fish are exceptionally preserved fossils. A Top Quality Chilean Hexanchus griseus upper jaw tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This tooth with four perfect cusps. Excellent preservation and fantastic color. This specimen is displayed on its original matrix with a well preserved tuna vertabra. No repair. These tooth was found in the Bahia Inglesa Fm. and is late Miocene to early Pliocene age. A scarce collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. Unfortunately there are no more teeth coming from this site. This rare piece is from an old collection!  A great display piece.

A natural Hoploscaphites nebrascensis ammonite with excellent preservation of the shell material. The ammonite shell has some natural iridescence. This ammonite species exhibits big ribs with multiple rows of tubercles (nodes). This specimen is sits in an original Pierre Shale nodule with a flat base for a great display. This ammonite is from the upper Cretaceous, Pierre Shale Fm. of So. Dakota. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic display piece.

A Quality BLACK Angustidens - upper jaw anterior tooth from the Low Country of So. Carolina. High quality enamel. Bourlette is an excellent black color and near complete.
