The "Flying" Top Quality Crotalocephalina gibbus trilobite. A January Fossil of the Month. The preparation is German directed with all original colors and no restoration. Great natural greenish shell with an excellent patina. The specimen is fully exposed and very nicely displayed on a pedestal of the original matrix. An Ultra Rare, rooted Top Quality Allosaurus fragilis tooth measuring 3-1/4". This Allosaurus crown measures 1-3/8" and is wide for its size (11/16"). This tooth is still inflated. The enamel is high quality. Great rich brown color. Excellent serrations on both sides all the way to the tip. Exceptional serrations for a large tooth. Root cracks were stabilized. A small tip repair was done by George Heslep. Excellent overall condition with very good serrations. An excellent quality tooth! Allosuarus was the apex during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Moffat Co., Colorado. A fantastic, best quality, Mammuthus primigenius, Woolly Mammoth tusk from Siberia. A January Fossil of the Month. This tusk is a manageable size at 44” straight line measurement (56" on the curve / 40" minimum display length as shown). This is the highest grade tusk available with no imperfections, no fill, best colors, perfectly preserved, and perfectly sealed. Both ends are completely intact and complete. It is a tusk of a younger mammoth which lived in the late Pleistocene Ice Age some 30,000 plus years ago. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is large. The bourlette is 50% complete, but looks very nice with the dentin layer being the same color. Great color! The serrations are razor sharp with a slightly damaged tip serration. Only 4 serrations show minor damage. Great serrations for a BIG Meg. A MONSTER, 6-1/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from Aurora, No. Carolina. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with a large brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! The crown is very wide (4-3/8") - incredible! The bourlette is excellent, extra large and 40% perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. Good serrations for a big Meg tooth - razor sharp! The root is an gray color with typical hydration cracks and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Yorktown Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Pliocene age = 4.5 MYA). An Extra Large, Top Quality Triceratops horridus rooted tooth from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops is a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The enamel has exceptional quality with excellent color / patina. The chewing surface measures 3/4” with a high ridge. This is a un-erupted tooth that has no wear. A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus brow horn from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A February 2021 Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations. This is a special horn with exceptional detail preserved and exceptional color / patina. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn. The preparation of the horn was fairly basic and simple - some cracks filled and a small area around the tip was restored. This is very minimal restoration for a horn. It comes with the welded steel stand as shown. A fantastic fossil overall. Legally collected on private land in the Lance Creek Fm., Lusk, Wyoming. An ultra rare, HIGH QUALITY Red Site Otodus (Carcharocles) megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an upper jaw tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. NC011 has excellent copper red color. The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are sharp. Bourlette is dark brown and near complete. The root has some wear. A Miocene Meg tooth.
