Great natural black shell with excellent luster. You got to love the natural iron mark. There is definitely no paint on this specimen. The compound eyes are exceptionally preserved. A Middle Devonian (380 mya) trilobite from the Oufaten area, Atlas Mts., Morocco. Authenticity guaranteed. Museum Quality. The Scyphocrinites crinoid was a floating variety which was attached to a holdfast air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx ("flowers"). This crinoid has a bulbous calyx with incredible detail. This crinoid has a good sized stem section of 3-3/4". These crinoids make fantastic display pieces. Museum Quality specimen.     A Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens caudal (tail) vertebra "chevron" from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The chevron is the appendage that resides below the tail vertebra that provides structure to the base of the tail. Chevron bones rarely survive and this one is 98% complete - rare! Bone quality is excellent and heavy. One crack. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Harding Co., So. Dakota.
