Note - this claw is from a second Anzu species which displays the strong horizontal ridges on the proxinal end. An excellent manus claw. A Top Quality Lambeosaur (Parasaurolophus) maxilla from the late Cretaceous (Judith River Fm.) of North America. An April Fossil of the Month. This is a complete upper jaw containing 100s exposed teeth. Parasaurolophus is a lambeosaur (crested) hadrosaur or "duck-bill" from the Judith River Formation in Montana. The maxilla possessed 100s teeth that were in rows of teeth which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a chewing surface to cut and grind their food. Bone quality is excellent. Minor crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Fergus Co., Mpntana. A LARGE, very rare Top Quality, Camptosaurus toe claw (pes claw). A March Fossil of the Month. Camtposaurus is a Jurassic ornithischian dinosaur related to the "duck bill" dinosaurs. It grew about 16 feet in length, and its name means "flexible lazard". It was a long-legged, bidel herbivore that relied on speed and agility to avoid predators. This Camptosaurus  toe claw measures 3-5/8". These claws resemble carnivore claws. Highest quality bone. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent overall condition. A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis spike from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month. A complete spike with excellent articulation. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This spike has exceptional color / patina. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Note - the excellent articulated skull surface on the base of the spike.
