Dinosaur Bones & Claws

A rare Top Quality Triceratops horridus vertebra from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This is a caudal (tail) vertebra with exceptional detail preserved and great color / patina. You can see the vertebra surface is very rugous and the vertebra is very thick with a very round centra which are characteristics of Triceratops and distinguishes it from a Hadrosaur. Triceratops bones are more difficult to find. No repair or restoration. It is very rare to find vertebra that are complete. 100% natural specimen. A very rare, Top Quality Thescelosaurus neglectus metatarsal (I) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Thescelosaurus is a mid-sized dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This is the metatarsal for toe #1. This bone has excellent quality with excellent color / patina. Minor crack fill. No repair or restoration. A rare Top Quality Struthiomimus altus foot (pes) claw from the late Cretaceous of North America. A juvenile Struthiomimus  foot claw. Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. A Top Quality Zuul crurivastator, an Ankylosaur, osteoderm or scute (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of North America. The Campanian age Ankylosaurs grew to 20 feet and 6000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. The bone is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. An excellent raised keell. A late Jurassic sauropod limb bone section from the Morrison Fm. This is most likely a Camarasaurus femur end section. Camarasaurus was a mid- sized Jurassic sauropod.. Great rich brown color.
