A LARGE, Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Albertosaurus, Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This tooth measures 1-5/8" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior serrations are good and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip. Wide base (5/8"). No cracks, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Wheatland Co., Montana. Probably an excellent Albertosaurus or Gorgosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus toe bone (pes digit) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. This is an excellent toe bone with excellent detail preserved and good color / patina. This is the large toe I - digit 1 bone. You can see the "mushroom" appearance of proximal ends which is a characteristic of Triceratops and distinguishes it from a Hadrosaur toe bone. Triceratops bones are more difficult to find. A rare, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens hoof core (toe or pes ungual) from the late Cretaceous of North America. An April Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This is a toe hoof core from an adult Edmontosaurus. The Edmontosaurus was bipedal and had much larger feet relative to hands. Bone quality and color excellent. No repair or restoration. A LARGE, Top Quality Denversaurus schlessmani osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Denversaurus schlessmani was the Nodosaur which grew to 20 feet and 6000 pounds, and a body covered with this heavy bony armor. Nodosaur armor plates are thicker than the Ankylosaur plates. A near complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Denversaurus with excellent surface articulation. The bone is excellent quality with excellent color / patina. No cracks or restoration. A rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis  premaxillary tooth. This Allosaurus crown measures 7/8". The enamel is highest quality. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent large serrations. Excellent overall condition and serrations. No restoration. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. An EXTRA LARGE Ultra Rare, Top Quality Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis premaxillary tooth from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the month. This tooth is often referred to as the Pachy "Fang". There are posterior serrations present on this tooth. There is also a wear facet on the tooth (quite common). A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis head spike from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This juvenile Pachy skull spike has excellent color and patina. Note the large blood grooves in the bone. It is a complete skull spike specimen.
