An EXTRA LARGE, rare Top Quality Camarasaurus tooth, a late Jurassic sauropod tooth from the Morrison Fm. A September Fossil of the Month. Camarasaurus had robust spoon shaped teeth to tear tough vegetation. This tooth is complete with incredible surfaces. The enamel is highest quality. Great rich black color. Exceptional enamel articulation. There was a small repair at the base of the root only. No repair or restoration to the crown. Very good overall condition and serrations. Some crack fill. No restoration. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. A LARGE, Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This tooth measures 2-1/4" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip with small wear facet on tip and the side. Wide base. No crack, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Fergus Co., Montana. Probably an excellent Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. Authenticity guaranteed. An excellent collector's tooth. A rare Top Quality Triceratops horridus dorsal vertebra from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This is a dorsal vertebra with exceptional detail preserved with good color and patina. Complete specimen. You can see the vertebra surface is very rugous with a very round centra which are characteristics of Triceratops and distinguishes it from a Hadrosaur. Triceratops bones are more difficult to find. This specimen has some cracks filled. No restoration. It is extremely rare to find vertebra that are complete. Legally collected on private land in Harding Co., South Dakota. A LARGE, very rare Top Quality, Camptosaurus toe claw (pes claw). A March Fossil of the Month. Camtposaurus is a Jurassic ornithischian dinosaur related to the "duck bill" dinosaurs. It grew about 16 feet in length, and its name means "flexible lazard". It was a long-legged, bidel herbivore that relied on speed and agility to avoid predators. This Camptosaurus  toe claw measures 3-5/8". These claws resemble carnivore claws. Highest quality bone. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent overall condition. No repair or restoration with minor crack fill. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Albany, Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic specimen. An Extra Large, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth tip. This tooth tip measures 1-9/16".  This is a large tip from an adult T. rex. The enamel has excellent color and patina. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. Base cross-section is a nearly round. No restoration. Note - There is a patch on the rear base that not necessary and can be removed. T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis spike from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month. A complete spike with excellent articulation. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This spike has exceptional color / patina. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Note - the excellent articulated skull surface on the base of the spike. A very rare Top Quality, Allosaurus & Camarasaurus toe bone from the Morrison Fm. These toe bones are complete, and they reside on an Allosaurus  vertebra neural section as originally found. The Allosaurus toe bone is 2-1/2" and the Camarasaurus toe bone measures 2-3/8" in length. High quality bone. Rich brown color. Very good overall condition with minor bone erosion. Normal crack fill. No restoration. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic and Camarasaurus was a medium-sized sauropod. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Emery Co., Utah.
