A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus shed tooth or "spitter" tooth from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops is a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. A LARGE, Top Quality Great White shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from Western Cape Province, So. Africa. This tooth has a blue colored crown, a large distinct brown gum line, and a brown root. Excellent color! Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks. Serrations are large and complete with an excellent tip serration. A GEM, 5-1/16" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. Our April 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light golden tan colored crown with an excellent hazel brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional golden tan color! The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Nearly PERFECT serrations. Exceptional serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent tan color with few no hydration cracks and a "root ear" which is characteristic of the Miocene Megs. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This tooth measures 2-3/8" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior serrations and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip. Note - the top has some minor planting etching and there is one natural wear facet on the side (very typical for the Campanian Tyrannosaurs). No cracks, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., McCone Co., Montana. Probably an excellent Gorgosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section.
