A MONSTER, 6-1/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from Aurora, No. Carolina. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with a large brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! The crown is very wide (4-3/8") - incredible! The bourlette is excellent, extra large and 40% perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. Good serrations for a big Meg tooth - razor sharp! The root is an gray color with typical hydration cracks and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Yorktown Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Pliocene age = 4.5 MYA). An incredibly sized, Top Quality Great White shark transition tooth (Carcharodon hubbelli) from Chile. An August 2019 Fossil of the Month. This ULTRA RARE, MONSTER sized Great White tooth measures 2-15/16" - a huge upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. This tooth is an ultra rare Carcharodon hubbelli with small serrations at the base of the cutting edge that disappear towards the tip. High quality enamel! Excellent color. Incredible large "gum line" and a wide root .This was a big shark. Exceptional preservation - note the preserved nutrient hole on the root. Absolutely no repair or restoration. A extremely rare, Top Quality Cetorhinus parvus gill raker, an extinct Basking shark, from the Mainz Basin, Germany. Gill rakers were used to filter plankton by these masive sharks.
