A very rare MASSIVE, High Quality  4-1/4" Tyrannosaurus rex  maxillary  tooth. A January Fossil of the Month. The enamel has a good color and patina. Good mesial and distal serrations. Base cross-section is a tall oval - very wide (1-9/16"). A thick and heavy tooth. There is some root etching, small crack fill, and a couple of small spots repaired near the base (see final photo). No restoration. 100% natural. A top quality BIG tooth top! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A GEM, ~5-1/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - ANTERIOR tooth. Our 2nd January 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light blue colored crown with an exceptional mahogany brown bourlette and mostly complete. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional tan & light blue color!
