A Top Quality Auriculatus tooth from Harleyville, So. Carolina. An excellent lateral tooth. A great tan colored crown with a brown colored bourlette, and a tan colored root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color & preservation. The serrations are large and razor sharp. Two excellent large side cusps. The root is complete and very well preserved. A rare LARGE, TOP QUALITY Megalonyx jeffersonii sloth claw from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths from Georgia. A February Fossil of the Month.  This sloth claw has excellent preservation, and is 100% complete with no damage. Great black bone color and texture with a highly articulated natural bone surface. Excellent preservation of the proximal end. There is no restoration or repair. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic Pleistocene giant ground sloth claw specimen!  Comes a custom burl wood stand as pictured.
