A LARGE, TOP QUALITY serrated Nanotyrannus lancensis premaxillary tooth from the western US. The premaxillary teeth were the front teeth, have a "D" shaped base, and were not large. Most Nano premaxillary teeth are non-serrate. This Nano has small serrations on one side - rare.  This premaxillary (front) tooth measures 1" (straight line).  The enamel is excellent quality. "The Best of West Java".  An ultra rare, Top Quality Megalodon - lower jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. This Megalodon has tan colored crown with red & brown highlights and an vivd golden tan colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! The bourlette is large and 100% complete. An ultra rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth - a large Rex tooth with a partial root (not a shed tooth). An August Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 2-3/4".  The enamel has exceptional color and patina. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. The serrations are large and wrap around the tip. This tooth was recently erupted and had no tip wear. No hydration cracks or breaks. Note - the root section is 1-1/4"+ and with a wall that is nearly 1/4" thick. Not likely a shed tooth breaking that deep below the gum line. 100% natural tooth. A top quality tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A Top Quality Alethopteris sp. - fossil fern display piece from St. Clair, Pennsylvania. A December Fossil of the Month. Alethopteris is an extinct genus of primitive seed fern that evolved during the Pennsylvanian Period. This specimen is well preserved with white colored ferns on a near black colored shale matrix. This white coating is a characteristic of the mineral pyrophyllite. The St. Clair area is known for their white ferns on black matrix. Pennsylvanian age. (300 mya). It weighs 16.8 pounds. A GEM, EXTRA LARGE, rare Pinus sp. pine cone specimen from Germany.  This pine cone is fully inflated. Fantastic preservation. One of the finest specimens that I have seen from the German site.
