A rare Top Quality, BIG CLASSIC Chile Megalodon tooth from the phosphate layer, Bahia Inglesa Fm., Caldera area, Chile. This tooth is nicely displayed on its original phosphorite matrix. Note - the pebbly phosphorite makes an interesting base which elevates the tip about 15 degress for a great display. A gorgeous light tan colored crown with no enamel peel. High quality enamel with very light mineral staining (as shown). The bourlette is an excellent deep mahogany brown color, large and 85% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent tip serration. A very rare, colorful GEM Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth. This tooth measures 2-1/16".  A June Fossil of the Month. The enamel has an exceptional two-tone color and patina (see Photos #2 & 3).  Incredible natural gloss. Exceptional mesial and distal serrations. Base cross-section is a tall oval. No hydration cracks. A small section on the distal carina is restored. A top quality tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A High Quality , 4-1/8" ULTRA RARE Caribbean Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible very light creamy tan colored crown with interesting light charcoal gray patterning. High quality enamel with no hydration cracks. The Caribbean Megalodon teeth consistently offer the closest to white colored enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is large and essentially perfect. The serrations are razor sharp including a worn tip serration. Excellent serrations! The root is an excellent creamy tan color with no hydration cracks. Great symmetry. Note - there was a 1/4" strip of the serrations on the right side of the tooth saw cut near the base and it was professionally restored. The damaged area was restricted to the edge only. This Megalodon was found in a limestone quarry in the Caribbean (Miocene age). This is an incredible Caribbean Meg tooth. A fine example of an ultra rare Caribbean Megalodon tooth, and an excellent collector's rare Megalodon tooth! A GEM, 6-3/16" ULTRA RARE Caribbean Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. Our January 2019 Fossil of the Month offering. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light creamy tan colored crown with interesting light charcoal gray patterning. Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks. Exceptional color! The bourlette is large and perfect. The serrations are razor sharp including the big tip serration. Excellent serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent creamy tan color with no hydration cracks. An extra wide root (4-7/8" wide). Great symmetry. Note - the serrations on the right side of the tooth were damaged and professionlly restored. The damaged area was restricted to the edge only. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2".
