An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY Deltadromeus tooth from the Cretaceous Kem Kem deposits of Morocco. Sharp serrations. Great preservation. Excellent tan color. Great posterior profile curve. This is my best estimate of this species based upon the characteristics of this theropod and distinguishing it from other known Kem Kem theropod species. A rare, EXTRA LARGE Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could be Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A July Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 3-1/16" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is highest quality with excellent color. Anterior serrations and posterior serrations are excellent.  Note - the large base height & width. This tooth comes from a  large Tyrannosaur - possibly Daspletosaurus. The posterior root corner was repaired for aesthetics. No resoration. A very rare, High Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth. This tooth measures 2-1/2". The enamel has an excellent color and patina. Very good mesial and distal serrations. Base cross-section is a extra large, tall oval. No hydration cracks. A small amount of crack fill and small sections were restored. A BIG high quality tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey.
