A colorful Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia. The crown has excellent multi-tone Tan colors. The enamel is the Highest Quality with typical hydration cracks. An EXTRA LARGE mahogany brown colored bourlette which is essentially complete. Razor sharp, extra large serrations including a damaged tip serration. A rare Top Quality PATHOLOGIC Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth "Mako", shark tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The end of the crown of this PATHOLOGIC lower lateral tooth is severely twisted lingually (nearly 90 degrees!). This tooth has excellent color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). This species is the ancestor to the Great White shark and Carcharomodus escheri.. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.
