A TOP QUALITY, 5-3/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from Aurora, No. Carolina. A May Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with a large brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! The crown is very wide (4-9/16") - incredible! The bourlette is excellent, extra large and 99% perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip serration (they will cut your hand). A Top Quality Ptychodus mortoni, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. A November Fossil of the Month. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design includes a high cusp with radiating occlusal ridges extending across the cusp face. A Top Quality Lambeosaur (Parasaurolophus) maxilla from the late Cretaceous (Judith River Fm.) of North America. An April Fossil of the Month. This is a complete upper jaw containing 100s exposed teeth. Parasaurolophus is a lambeosaur (crested) hadrosaur or "duck-bill" from the Judith River Formation in Montana. The maxilla possessed 100s teeth that were in rows of teeth which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a chewing surface to cut and grind their food. Bone quality is excellent. Minor crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Fergus Co., Mpntana.
