A Top Quality Otodus sokolovi tooth from Harleyville, So. Carolina. Otodus sokolovi is the ancestor of O. auriculatus. An excellent lateral tooth. An excellent tan colored crown with a light brown colored bourlette, and a tan colored root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color & preservation. The serrations are large and razor sharp. Two large side cusps. The root is complete and very well preserved. It is very hard to find these teeth in perfect condition. An excellent collector's Harleyville O. sokolovi tooth! An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Prognathodon anceps tooth from the phosphate mining region, Khouribga, Morocco. P. anceps is one of the largest mosasaur species known with huge nearly round teeth used for crushing prey.  Exceptional condition and preservation. Note - this large Moroccan Mosasaur was renamed to a Prognathodon genus. A massive Mosasaur tooth from the hero of Jurassic World! No repair or restoration.  Authenticity guaranteed. An excellent Neotherium mirum jaw section (right mandible) from the Sharktooth Hill area, near Bakersfield, California. Neotherium is a basal walrus. An ultra rare Mosasaur matrix piece with two Top Quality Mosasaurus (Prognathodon) anceps teeth with their original roots. Another May 2018 Fossil of the Month selection. Includes a massive 5-1/2" tooth and a 3" tooth in the original matrix. Both are fully rooted and perfect teeth which is very rare! This is not your typical Mosasaur crown glued to a root. This is an all original, associated specimen (beware of the fakes - discussion below). Exceptional condition and preservation.  No repair or restoration. Museum Quality. The only authentic Mosasaur specimen with two original rooted teeth that I have seen!  Note - the large Moroccan Mosasaurs are being renamed to a Prognathodon genus. Authenticity guaranteed.

A rare Megalodon tooth from Sumatra, Indonesia. This Meg is serrated. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth. D002 is the tooth on the right. Authenticity guaranteed.

A GEM Quality Aetomylaeus sp., an Eagle ray, mouth plate from Caldera area of Chile. An excellent plate of pavement teeth from the upper jaw. The specimen resides on its orinigal matrix. This plate has exceptional preservation, fantastic deep red colors, and exceptionally clean. Note - the bottom side of this specimen is mostly matrix covered with a large whale bone is exposed. An incredible late Miocene Eagle ray mouth plate from the Bahia Inglesa Fm.  Museum Quality.
