A LARGE Top Quality, Carcharodon hastalis,  Mako shark tooth (upper anterior jaw tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. Note - This tooth exhibits the classic characteristic shape of the middle Miocene Mako teeth found both in the Lee Creek mine and the NC red site. I do not see this Mako tooth shape from other Miocene deposits. Possibly a hastalis species variation and it is referred to as the "narrow form". Maximum size is approximately 2". This tooth has a rich  blue crown and a brown colored root. Excellent colors!  Razor sharp cutting edge. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A perfect "Pungo" hastalis tooth.

A very rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Torvosaurus tanneri  tooth from the Morrison Fm. A January Fossil of the Month. This Torvosaurus crown measures 2" and is 1-1/4" wide. The tooth measures 3-1/4" with the partial root. This is a BIG Torvosaurus tooth big serrations on both carinae (1.5 ser. per mm) and the mesial carina extends less than 1/2 of the crown. The enamel is high quality. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. Minor natural crushing on the left bottom is stabilized. Excellent overall condition. There is minor restoration at the high point of the base of the crown.. Torvosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. A LARGE, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens tail (caudal) vertebra from the late Cretaceous of North America. A rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens hoof core (toe or pes ungual) from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This is a toe hoof core from a massive Edmontosaurus. It is from the center toe - toe III. The largest one that I have seen! The Edmontosaurus was bipedal and had much larger feet relative to hands. Bone quality is excellent. No repair or restoration.
