A rare Top Quality PATHOLOGIC Carcharodon hastalis, Broad-tooth "Mako", shark tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The end of the crown of this PATHOLOGIC lower lateral tooth is severely twisted lingually (nearly 90 degrees!). This tooth has excellent color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). This species is the ancestor to the Great White shark and Carcharomodus escheri.. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

A Top Quality, Extra Large Sperm whale tooth, Scaldicetus sp., from the ACE river basin, So. Carolina. A Miocene age whale tooth. This tooth has a wonderful spiked enamel crown and a large, nearly complete round root. The tip of the crown has a small natural wear facet - quite common for these teeth. This tooth shows excellent detail - very well preserved. The root is extra wide and nicely articulated. A very well preserved specimen with no river wear! An excellent BIG Sperm whale tooth. A TOP QUALITY, 3" Classic Lee Creek Chubutensis tooth (predecessor of Megalodon) - ANTERIOR tooth. This Chubutensis has an incredible light tan colored crown with a light brown bourlette.
