A LARGE, well preserved Armadillo scute (Holmesina floridanus) from northern Florida.  The Giant Armadillo was an oversized armadillo with a thick shell that evolved in the Pleistocene and became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene in North America. A LARGE, TOP QUALITY Eremotherium laurillardoi sloth tooth from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths from Georgia. This sloth is part the family of largest ground sloths and their teeth are described as "brick-like". The Norh American cousin to Megatherium.  This tooth has excellent preservation and shows little water wear. It's complete with absolutely no restoration or repair. An ultra rare, Thalassocnus, a Swimming Sloth, tooth from the Bahia Inglesia Formation, Copiapo, Chile. A May Fossil of the Month. This sloth lived on the west coast of So. A TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Suwanee River, Suwanee Co., Florida. An excellent canine or incisor tooth (see photo for tooth positions).  An excellent brown colored crown and root. Nicely articulated. Note - enamel tip shows a small wear pattern on crown. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age.
