A Very Rare, Top Quality Notidanodon pectinatus tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. An August Fossil of the Month. This genius is from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species of Hexanchiforme shark. The crown is complete with 8 cusplets (1 damaged) and the root is complete (cracked).  High quality enamel. No repair. This Megalodon has an incredible tan & light lavendar colored crown with a red-brown & gold colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! The bourlette is extra large and complete. A Top Quality Ptychodus mammillaris, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Kamp Ranch Fm. tooth.
