A rare, EXTRA LARGE, GEM Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. A February Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". A fantastic manus claw. This is 1st manus claw which is largest and most robust; often referred as the "thumb". Excellent rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible preservation - no pitting, nicks or wear. All surfaces are fantasic - very rare. Note - a small tip area was professionally restored which is typical for most Hell Creek claws. The repair is quite small with the repaired area being 5 mm on the right facing side of the tip. On the left facing side of tip, it is 1-2 mm. This is top quality, collector's claw from the Hell Creek of Montana. An Ultra Rare, GEM, LARGE copper-red Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Meherrin River, No. Carolina.  An August Fossil of the Month. Rare deep copper red color with exceptional gloss. A Top Quality Otodus sokolovi tooth from Harleyville, So. Carolina . Otodus sokolovi is the ancestor of O. auriculatus. An excellent lateral tooth. An excellent BLUE colored crown with a black colored bourlette, and a ligth gray colored root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color & preservation. The serrations are large and razor sharp. An ultra rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaur toe bone from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this toe bone could Albertosaurus, Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This toe bone measures 2-9/16" - an excellent Tyrannosaur toe bone. This could be the last or the next to last digit of the long toe (see Albertosaurus foot photo). The bone is high quality and complete with excellent color. Minor crack fill.
