A Very Rare, LARGE Top Quality Notidanodon pectinatus tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. This genius is from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species of Hexanchiforme shark. The crown is complete with 8 cusplets (4 nicked) and the root is essentially complete.  High quality enamel. No repair. The my last July 2017 Fossil of the Month is a GEM 4-11/16" Megalodon - upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. Fantastic colors - gray enamel and a jet black bourlette.
