A Top Quality, Otodus obliquus tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. A lateral tooth. This tooth has an excellent golden tan color and a white root. Sharp edges and tip. A Top Quality Tietea singularis, petrified Tree Fern. trunk section from the Maranhão Basin, NE Brazil. This tree fern was from the Pedra do Fogo Formation and is Permian age age (265 MYA). One end is polished and the other is sanded. The interior is highly vascular with unqiue pores and channels that have been silicified into agate. The exterior trunk section nicely preserved. Trunk section length is 4-3/8" in length and makes a great display.  This piece exhibits exceptional preservation and color. Authenticity guaranteed. A Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens lower jaw section from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They possessed ~300 teeth that were in columns of five teeth each which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a large chewing surface to cut and grind their food. This specimen is a large section of the lower jaw showing at least 20 teeth still in place. Bone quality is excellent with no cracks. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. A exceptional specimen from one of my favorite localities. Carolina.  An extinct elephant ancestor that evolved in the Early Miocene of North America and a close relative to the Mastodon & Mammoth. Exceptional unerupted cusps with great detail and color.  Partial root.
