A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis spike from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the skull. This spike has excellent color / patina. It is a nearly complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Pachychephalosaurus spike. A rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens hoof core (toe or pes ungual) from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This is a toe hoof core from a massive Edmontosaurus. It is from the center toe - toe III. The largest one that I have seen! The Edmontosaurus was bipedal and had much larger feet relative to hands. Bone quality is excellent. No repair or restoration. A LARGE, ultra rare, GEM Trigonotodus serratus shark tooth, the extinct serrated Giant Thresher from southern Virginia. Our last January 2018 Fossil of the Month offering. Fantastic copper red color. A rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Otodus sokolovi tooth from Boujdour, Western Sahara, Morocco. Enamel quality is excellent with an excellent large bourlette. The serrations are very sharp with a slightly damaged tip serration. The side cusps are complete with uniform serrations - (a younger sokolovi version). The root is massive and complete. A Top Quality, Otodus obliquus pathologic tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. A lateral tooth with highly curved crown. This tooth has an excellent golden tan color and a white root. Sharp edges and tip. The side cusps are muliple and complete. A massive, thick root. An Ultra Rare, Hexanchus griseus symphyseal tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. This is complete lower jaw symphyseal tooth. A rare male shark. Superb preservation and color. Nine plus very sharp and one primary cusp surrounded by many small pathologic cusps. An excellent complete root. A LARGE Quality, "The Grumpy Old Man" Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw tooth from the ACE river basin, South Carolina. A rare, Top Quality Anzu wyliei toe (pes) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An excellent pes claw. Excellent rich brown color and patina.
