A Top Quality, 5-5/16" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color!  The serrations are razor sharp with an unique pathologic tip. Tip has a slight twist and serrations were not formed. Very strange. The root is an excellent tan color and extra wide (4-5/8") with typical hydration cracks and absolutely complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). An excellent BIG collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! A Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia - an upper jaw tooth. The crown has excellent unique tan color. The enamel is the Highest Quality with small hydration cracks. A Large Black colored bourlette which is 80% complete. Extra large, razor sharp serrations including an excellent tip serration. The root is a dark tan color, nicely articulated, robust, and complete. This tooth is exhibits extra large serrations and grooves on the root ends. These are traits of a Miocene age tooth.  Incredible color! Note - these Georgia Megs are fantastic - essentially little sign of wear and excellent preservation. An Ultra Rare, LARGE Top Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Meg teeth to locate. This "Bakersfield white" tooth was found in Ernst "whale quarry". Highest quality enamel with a great light tan color. The bourlette is a white color and mostly dentin layer. The serrations are extra large and 100% complete with a great tip. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Also note the grooves on the root ends - a Miocene trait. Note - This is a middle Miocene Meg has tip repair. You will not see large middle Miocene Sharktooth Hill Megs from Bakersfield, California very often. One of the rarest Megs!
