A very rare, Top Quality juvenile premaxillary Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth . This tooth measures 7/8".  The enamel has excellent color and patina. Excellent serrations on the right carina. A TOP QUALITY Megalonyx leptostomus sloth claw from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths and our December 2017 Fossil of the Month. This claw has excellent preservation and shows little water wear. It's complete down to a nice tip with absolutely no restoration or repair. Excellent preservation of the proximal end. A LARGE, Rare Basilosaurus isis premolar tooth from Morocco. Basilosaurus was in the Basilosauridae family of early whales. An August Fossil of the Month. A Top Quality BLUE petrified limb section from Java, Indonesia. This petrified wood is Pliocene age (3 MYA). A natural fossil wood section that is covered with light blue (crystaline opal?) mineral. It appears to be from one of the secret Indonesian blue opal sites, but this limb had no cavities for the opal to form. Limb section length is 8-1/2" and makes a good display with a fantastic blue color. This piece exhibits good preservation and color. Authenticity guaranteed.
