A Top Quality, Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis node cluster from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes (2+ nodes). This spike has excellent color / patina with exceptional surface articulation. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. This is a node cluster with a large node surrounded by a group of small nodes. Note -  the excellent articulated skull surface on the base of the node. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent and very rare collector's quality Pachychephalosaurus node cluster. You don't see these skull pieces very often. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A very special piece - my best cluster!

A LARGE, ultra rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaur toe bone from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this toe bone could Albertosaurus, Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A May Fossil of the Month. This toe bone measures 3-5/8" - an excellent Tyrannosaur toe bone. This could be the next to last digit of the center toe (see Albertosaurus foot photo). A TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE & very rare Archaeocete whale, Zygorhiza kochii, from Harleyville, So. Carolina. Our 2nd November Fossil of the Month is a highly desirable Zygorhiza molar or "yoke" tooth.  An exceptional chocolate brown colored crown and tan root. The crown has fantastic articulation with incredible detail. Complete root. This tooth has minimal repair to tips of the 3 cusps on the left side only. Very little repair overall for a yoke tooth which are typically heavily repaired.  One of the BEST Archaeocete molars that I have seen from So. Carolina in a long time. A very rare collector's tooth. Museum Quality.  Note - 6" x 8" Riker frame included. One of my favorites!
