A FANTASTIC polished display piece with two exposed EXTRA LARGE ammonites and an orthoceras. A third ammonite is also exposed when viewed from the top. All showing the intricate internal chamber structure.The rock matrix is a beautiful marble material and the Ammonite cavities are mineral filled! These ammonites and orthoceras are beautifully polished. This display measures  8"  x  14" and weighs 12 pounds. You rarely see top quality, extra large ammonites and Orthoceras in the same matrix block. An incredible, rarely seen display item!

A LARGE, Top Quality Great White shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from Western Cape Province, So. Africa. This tooth has a blue colored crown, a large distinct brown gum line, and a brown root. Excellent color! Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks. Serrations are large and complete with an excellent tip serration. There are also the base seration on each side are pathologic - very cool. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. No repair or restoration. A Top Quality, Extra Large rare transition GW tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli. An upper jaw anterior tooth. Another December 2017 Fossil of the Month. The C. hubbelli serrations are full at the base of the cutting edge, transition to fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. This tooth has an excellent blue colored crown ("blue site"), brown root, and a vivid dark maroon "gum line". Excellent color. No repair. Authenticity guaranteed. An exceptional GW transition form!  It will be extremely difficult to locate another large, top quality Carcharodon hubbelli since the few that exist are buried in collections.

An EXTRA LARGE, incredibly preserved Woolly Mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius), an early elephant, molar found in Yatuksk, Siberia. A December Fossil of the Month.
