A LARGE, TOP QUALITY serrated Nanotyrannus lancensis premaxillary tooth from the western US. A March Fossil of the Month. The premaxillary teeth were the front teeth, have a "D" shaped base, and were not large. Most Nano premaxillary teeth are non-serrate. This Nano has strong serrations - rare.  The right side serrations have some wear or damage. This tooth measures 7/8" (straight line). The enamel is excellent quality. No cracks. A rare, Top Quality Symmorium sp., an extinct Cladodont shark tooth, from the Paleozoic era in Indiana. A primary cusp with two small side cusps. Full root. Probably a juvenile tooth. Good color.
