A beautifully prepared, GEM QUALITY Comura bultyncki trilobite. The collector's favorite spiny trilobite. An April Fossil of the Month. Dozens of large spines fully exposed requiring many dozens of hours of air abrasion. One of the most difficult species to prepare. The Comura has very ornate spiny trilobite design with excellent compound eyes! Excellent shell and spine preservation. Large size. A scarce species! A very rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Torvosaurus tanneri  tooth from the Morrison Fm. A January Fossil of the Month. This Torvosaurus crown measures 2" and is 1-1/4" wide. The tooth measures 3-1/4" with the partial root. This is a BIG Torvosaurus tooth big serrations on both carinae (1.5 ser. per mm) and the mesial carina extends less than 1/2 of the crown. The enamel is high quality. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. Minor natural crushing on the left bottom is stabilized. Excellent overall condition. There is minor restoration at the high point of the base of the crown.. Torvosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cabin Quarry, Albany Co., Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed.  Note - A Riker display frame is included. A Very Scarce, Quality Carcharodon (Isurus) hastalis tooth -  an upper jaw anterior Mako tooth from the Dakhla area, Western Sahara, Morocco. Good quality enamel. A nice tan color. A rare, ~3" GEM Great White transition shark tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli, from Chile. The C. hubbelli is an evolutionary transition from the non-serrated big-tooth Mako shark to the fully serrated Great White shark which takes place in the late Miocene period.
