A "Picture" Top Quality Carcharodon carcharias, the Great White shark, tooth from So. Carolina. An upper jaw anterior tooth.  "Picture" GW tooth with a nice GRAY & TAN  colored enamel and a solid dark brown colored root. Root is well preserved - very difficult to find in the Carolina GWs. A rare Carcharhinus plumbeus tooth, the Sandbar shark, from Sumatra, Indonesia. These teeth were deposited in the Telisa formation - a shallow marine environment during the middle Miocene (approx. 15 million years ago.) A very unique collector's tooth.
