Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. A LARGE,  Top Quality Elosuchus(?) crocodile scute from the Kem Kem region of Morocco. Note - This is a center ridge scute with a raised center line. Incredible detail and color. This is a complete scute ("body armor") which is most likely from the dominate crocodile for the region - Elosuchus. The crocodile scute is Mid Cretaceous epoch, Cenomanian stage (96 million years ago). No repair or restoration. An exceptional collector's scute. Authenticity guaranteed. A rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens hoof core (toe or pes ungual) from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This is a toe hoof core from a massive Edmontosaurus. It is from the center toe - toe III. The largest one that I have seen! The Edmontosaurus was bipedal and had much larger feet relative to hands. Bone quality is excellent. No repair or restoration. This is a post orbital skull section covered with 12+ spikes. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This is a caudal (tail) vertebra with exceptional detail preserved and great color / patina. You can see the vertebra surface is very rugous and the vertebra is very thick with a very round centra which are characteristics of Triceratops and distinguishes it from a Hadrosaur. Note - Triceratops hoof cores are generally smaller than Hadrosaur, have a very rugous surface, have a characteristeristic "shallow ledge" on the under side, have less height than Hadrosaur, and are much more difficult to find. A Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. An October Fossil of the Month. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This tooth measures 2-3/8" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior serrations and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip. Note - the top has some minor planting etching and there is one natural wear facet on the side (very typical for the Campanian Tyrannosaurs). No cracks, repair or restoration.
