A Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian - Two Medicine Fm.) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A May Fossil of the Month. This tooth measures 1-13/16" -  an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip with a small wear facet on tip. Base is large and round. No crack, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Two Medicine Fm., Glacier Co., Montana. This is an excellent Daspletosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. A TOP QUALITY, EXTRA LARGE & very rare Archaeocete whale, Zygorhiza kochii, from Harleyville, So. Carolina. Our 2nd November Fossil of the Month is a highly desirable Zygorhiza molar or "yoke" tooth.  An exceptional chocolate brown colored crown and tan root. The crown has fantastic articulation with incredible detail. Complete root. This tooth has minimal repair to tips of the 3 cusps on the left side only. Very little repair overall for a yoke tooth which are typically heavily repaired.  One of the BEST Archaeocete molars that I have seen from So. Carolina in a long time. A very rare collector's tooth. A ~5" GEM JET BLACK colored Megalodon - lower jaw ANTERIOR tooth. An exceptional true black crown - not a charcoal gray color. Highest quality enamel - the surface is like glass!
