An EXTRA LARGE, rare Top Quality Camarasaurus tooth, a late Jurassic sauropod tooth from the Morrison Fm. A September Fossil of the Month. Camarasaurus had robust spoon shaped teeth to tear tough vegetation. This tooth is complete with incredible surfaces. The enamel is highest quality. Great rich black color. Exceptional enamel articulation. There was a small repair at the base of the root only. No repair or restoration to the crown. A rare, EXTRA LARGE, GEM Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. A February Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". A fantastic manus claw. This is 1st manus claw which is largest and most robust; often referred as the "thumb". Excellent rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible preservation - no pitting, nicks or wear. All surfaces are fantasic - very rare. Note - a small tip area was professionally restored which is typical for most Hell Creek claws. The repair is quite small with the repaired area being 5 mm on the right facing side of the tip. On the left facing side of tip, it is 1-2 mm. This is top quality, collector's claw from the Hell Creek of Montana. The April 2015 "Fossil Shark Tooth of the Month" selection is a GEM, 4-3/8" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth.
