A Top Quality Eurypterus lacustris, the "Sea Scorpion", from Buffalo, New York. A November Fossil of the Month. This is a spooky looking arthropod that are related to arachnids, such as, the Horseshoe crab. It was found in the Williamsville Fm., Bertie Group of western New York and it is Silurian age (430 mya). A complete specimen that is nicely displayed on shale matirx. A very rare, Top Quality Parotodus benedeni lateral tooth with a massive root from the St. Mary's River, Georgia. A Miocene age tooth from the Hawthorne Fm. An August Fossil of the Month. An incredible red colored tooth! Highest quality enamel with sharp edges and a sharp tip! Root is massive,complete, nicely articulated, and has essentially no hydration crack. Our July FOTM week 2 offering - an ULTRA RARE, EXTRA LARGE copper red colored Chubutensis tooth - an upper jaw anterior position. A monster sized 3-3/4" Chubutensis tooth. Rare copper red colors with rich reds and red-brown colors. The bourlette is very good. The serrations are sharp with a worn tip. Excellent color! Incredible size and excellent overall condition. Of course, there is no repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed.  An ultra rare collector's tooth from the No.Carolina copper red site. We will not see many teeth from the copper red site and no Chubs like this one!

A Top Quality, Extra Large Sperm whale tooth, Scaldicetus sp., from the ACE river basin, So. Carolina. A Miocene age whale tooth. This tooth has a wonderful spiked enamel crown and a large, nearly complete round root. The tip of the crown has a small natural wear facet - quite common for these teeth. This tooth shows excellent detail - very well preserved. The root is extra wide and nicely articulated. A very well preserved specimen with no river wear! An excellent BIG Sperm whale tooth. A LARGE, Top Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Ankylosaurus and Denversaurus, a Nodosaur, were the two Ankylosaurs present in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek Formations.  A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. The bone is excellent quality with excellent color and patina. Well preserved vascular channels. Typical hydrations cracks only. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic collector's quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm.  I do not see large top quality ostederms very often.
