A LARGE, rare Top Quality Carcharomodus escheri, a "serrated Mako" shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The Carcharomodus escheri  was named as a new genus in 2015 based upon a crenulated cutting edge ("wavy serrations"), slender & distally inclined crown, and side cusplets. This tooth has excellent color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. Two side cusplets. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). An excellent rare collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A difficult tooth to source.

A TOP QUALITY serrated Nanotyrannus lancensis premaxillary tooth from the western US. The premaxillary teeth were the front teeth, have a "D" shaped base, and were not large. Most Nano premaxillary teeth are non-serrate. This Nano has strong serrations - rare.  The right side serrations have some wear or damage. This tooth measures 9/16" (straight line). The enamel is xcellent quality. No cracks. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Custer Co., Montana. A GEM upper jaw A3 anterior tooth - a difficult position tooth to find. Gorgeous light gray & tan color and excellent preservation. These are the "Blue" teeth which are know for the highest preservation and best color - rarely seen outside of Europe. A beautiful collector's tooth.
